Pets Pets are not allowed. Reviews 45 Our reviews are from genuine LateRooms. Very Good. Very convenient, clean, friendly. Nice balcony. Didn't eat there but menu sounded good. I was hesitant about booking on reading some reviews, but they were harsh. I enjoyed stay and would stay again. We stayed in room 4 which was quite gloomy due to the high hedge. The room was kept clean ,breakfasts were tasty and the dining staff were very helpful.
Receptionists could be more efficient. There are better value hotels in the area.
Took a little time to sort out but got there in the end. We chose the hotel because the information on the website indicated that disabled access was good. In fact, although access disabled was possible the slope from the long and steep external access from the bedroom to other hotel facilities caused problems.
There was also no disabled parking. This should be made clear in website. Easy to park, hotel layout meant a route march to my room, to be fair it was well directed with clear age, lots of twists and turns with odd little steps. Free cabled internet connection rather than WiFi.
This gave good speed for s but could not cope with watching iplayer. The accessible TV channels are limited, good selection of moves on demand. Tea and coffee in the desk draw, first time I have ever boiled a kettle in a draw Great shower, comfortable bed. Speedy check in. Room Large room with balcony overlooking Carpark. Room clean. Bed ok. Bathroom in need of update but adequate for needs.
Towels clean. Hairdryer ,tea, coffee making facilities,tv. All in all a good value stay. Breakfast good and great Italian waiter. We will definitely stay again.
I arrived at 12 o'clock at night having worked 20 hours a need of some sleep, but they was a couple next door having a party and sex it went on till 3 in the morning. I rang the reception twice nothing was done about it! So after my long day I had no sleep! The walls in the hotel are not insulated properly. Unfortunately my room had a water tank above it which resulted in so much gurgling and sloshing it was like trying to sleep next to the large intestine of a giant blue whale. In addition the hallway lights had blown so hallway was pitch black resulting in me tripping down a step in the darkness, only able to get into room thanks to light on mobile phone.
An hotel for the adventurous? Overbed lights not working, so if one of us wished to read we had to have room lights on. Bathroom extractor not working, water very hot - no warninghands removed very quickly. Breakfast was ok. We ate there first night, but next day both of us had very poorly tummies, in fact I had to stay in room next evening and it ruined our meeting with friends - part of the plan for this trip. Room temperature is either 0 or 22 C - thermostat is controllled "remotely" - what ever that means? Overall, not Alone in my hotel in Reigate enjoyable stay, staff however are courteous and helpful.
Needs a good facelift and move on up to the 20th century. Plenty of space for a change and spotlessly clean. It was excellent value for money and very convenient for the M Hotel and room were clean. Great for what we needed Short stay close to Reigate. guest comments about road noise are harsh It is very faint.
Reception very friendly and helpful upon arrival, after explaining the purpose of our visit and requesting breakfast in our room as we had to leave before breakfast was served and requesting a 15 minute early delivery at 6. Alone in my hotel in Reigate comment on the food as we didn't use the restaurant or bar but the receptionist on arrival and leaving was helpful, friendly and genuine.
Our room was clean and spacious and better equipped than many more expensive hotels we've stayed in and everything worked. The TV was much bigger than you normally get and in general fittings seemed of good quality. We're glad that we ignored a less than complimentary review about the exterior and age of the building- being January we decided against sitting out on the balcony.
The bedroom was large, well furnished and clean, let down slightly by a bed-side light not working. The bathroom was slightly disappointing; the heated towel rail was not working so it was cold and the shower head difficult to keep in place. However, I felt that if it hadn't been Christmas the problems would have been dealt with as the reception staff were very helpful.
The dining room was clean and airy with an adequate continental breakfast choice. Lesley H.Alone in my hotel in Reigate
