The next gathering came and Thomas was there. Jesus appeared in the midst of the disciples and showed Thomas his hands and told him to put his fingers where the nails were and also told him to reach his hand in his side. Jesus asked Thomas if he already believed because he had seen him, and told the disciples that blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed. Faith is not hoping God can it is knowing He will, But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. We are like Thomas sometimes, our faith bends especially in hard times.

We always have this thinking that if we pray a lot and harder, God will do things for us in a snap and if our expectations disappoint us we tend to question our faith. The story of Job is one of the most celebrated pieces of biblical literature. Job never condemned God even in his most painful experiences.

For me, a good faith resembles a blind man putting his trust into a guide dog.

Faith is not hoping god can

It is entrusting everything in to the hands of God, asking him to direct and guide your path. Faith is conquering hardships and struggles with ease, enduring pains and carrying your own cross and following Jesus. Lastly and most important of all, faith is knowing that God truly loves us. Dear Father in heaven, we praise and exalt You. We thank You for everything for being faithful on your promises.

Forgive us in all the moments we questioned our faith, in times that our faith bends and in times our faith crumbles. Father, we do not understand Your majestic plans for us, but we entrust our lives in to Your hands. Gives us strength to overcome all our adversaries and keep hold on to our faith as what Job and other saints did as they carry their cross and followed Faith is not hoping god can son Jesus Christ.

Lastly Father, guide our path like a blind man, keep us in the right path and lead us to Your kingdom in heaven. We ask this through Christ our savior, Amen. Like Liked by 1 person. You are commenting using your WordPress. You are commenting using your Google .
